Our main aim with this website is to take away any fear and uncertainty of learning of a diagnosis for either you or your child or if a diagnosis has not yet been made and you suspect you or your child might have the condition. This website can also be used as a general resource tool for Parents and teachers.
Transition is a term used to refer to that time in a young person’s life when plans are made to move from school to adult life. The Transition Service has been set up to provide an effective support service for all pupils, from age 14+, for whom the Board maintains a statement of Special Educational Needs.
The Youth Justice Agency of NI aims to prevent offending by children. In doing so, it delivers a range of services, often in partnership with others, to help children address their offending behaviour, divert them from crime, assist their integration into the community, and to meet the needs of victims of crime.
