 Friends of Vicky Pollard Day

Our staff have once again put their reputations on the line all in the name of ADD-NI and this year they celebrated in style being Friends of Vicky Pollard.

They tried their hardest to channel their new best friend in order to raise much needed funds for the Centre. They went all out in their efforts to make sure they raised as much as possible to support the work of our recently opened Post Intervention Service.

Don’t worry if you haven’t donated yet!! You can still do so by using our Friends of Vicky Pollard Day Sponsorship Form or make a donation on-line

To make the most of their colourful costume choices Friends of Vicky Pollard Day was held during one of our busiest nights of the year, our most recent parent support meeting! Thank you to all the parents and friends of ADD-NI who attended, supported and appreciated the staff in their most recent attempt to support the Centre. For more photographic evidence of the event visit our Photo Gallery.

As well as having Vicky Pollard’s new BFF’s in our Support Meeting parents also got the chance to listen to and ask a member of ADD-NI’s Youth Committee what it is like to live with AD/HD as a child, through education and even as an adult. We hope all who attended enjoyed the evening and that all parent’s have found it useful, despite the the high numbers in attendance!!

Our next Parent Support Meeting will  have ADD-NI chairperson Dr Larry Martel as a guest speaker, a consultant paediatrician in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, with a specialised interest in AD/HD. The date is yet to be confirmed, but we will keep you all posted, via email, Facebook and here!!
